Your heart knows that many times you yourself have cursed others.” Eccl. 7:21-22 1. The Mechanics of the Human Heart 2. The Speech of Sinful Hearts 3. The Preoccupation of a Godly Heart ESV: Wisdom gives strength to the wise man more than ten rulers who are in a city. Surely there is not a righteous man on earth who does good and never sins. Do not take to heart all the things that people say, lest you hear your servant cursing you. Your heart knows that many times you yourself have cursed others. NIV: Wisdom makes one wise person more powerful than ten rulers in a city. Indeed, there is no one on earth who is righteous, no one who does what is right and never sins. Do not pay attention to every word people say, or you may hear your servant cursing you--for you know in your heart that many times you yourself have cursed others. Notes: 1. Introduction A.
